Our Commitment
At Parents on Track, we are committed to making our content accessible and welcoming to all readers, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other accessibility tools.
We believe that every parent deserves equal access to the information and resources shared on this site — and that includes parents with disabilities.
What We Are Doing
We are actively working to improve the accessibility of Parents on Track in the following ways:
- Using clear heading structures so content is easy to navigate
- Adding descriptive alt text to all images
- Ensuring sufficient color contrast throughout the site
- Using descriptive link text so every link makes sense in context
- Using the WP Accessibility plugin to address common accessibility issues
Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards to the best of our ability as an independently run blog.
Known Limitations
As a small, independently operated blog, we are continuously improving. Some older content or third-party tools embedded on this site may not yet meet full accessibility standards. We are committed to addressing these gaps over time.
